General Requirements

1. All electrical related incidents shall be reported to the Electrical Inspectorate Unit by the quickest means available, and subsequently with the least possible delay shall report in writing on the facts of the matter so far as they are known to them respectively.
    
2. Circular MPU-EIU-1/2004 dated 01/12/2004.
    
   • Notification must be made within 24 hours to EIU office either by fax using Form EIU/NOTIFY_ACC/1.0 or verbally.

    

   • Preliminary report (Form EIU REPT_ACC/1.0) must be submitted within 7 working days.

    

   • This procedure shall not replace, override or nullify the requirements imposed by other authorities.

    

   • Responsibility of the licensee, owner and management to ensure compliances of this requirement.
