WELCOME TO MINISTRY OF UTILITY AND TELECOMMUNICATION SARAWAK OFFICIAL WEBSITE

This Ministry is responsible for four portfolios namely water supply, electricity supply, gas distribution and telecommunication services and oversees their implementations and regulations.

Our vision is to achieve full coverage of utility and telecommunication services in Sarawak by the year 2030. To realise this goal, the Ministry has developed a range of plans, programmes, and initiatives aligned with the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.

This website is designed to ease and facilitate access to the Ministry’s corporate information, online services, and activities for both individuals and businesses. Visitors can view and download up-to-date policies, guidelines, circulars, procedures, processes, programmes, and initiatives under the Ministry’s purview.

Online services such as applications for registration, certification, and licensing can be conducted through this website. In line with Sarawak’s digital transformation, the Ministry is progressively introducing the issuance of digital certificates and licences, which can be directly downloaded by applicants.

Finally, visitors are encouraged to share their views, comments, and suggestions through this website to help enhance the Ministry’s service delivery. We also welcome feedback from users to support the continuous improvement of this website and to maximise its usefulness for all visitors.
