On February 8, 2020 (Saturday), YB Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, Minister of Utility Sarawak officiating Projek Rakyat Bekalan Air along Deshon Road, Ling Kai Cheng Road, Teku Road and Water Supply project of Ulu Sungai Merah, Sibu. This project is part of the initiative of the Sarawak Government under the Ministry of Utility and through Sibu Water Board to provide water supply to 4,929 residents along along Deshon Road, Ling Kai Chen and Teku Road and 3,364 residents along Ulu Sungai Merah Road, Sibu. The ceremony also attended by YB Ir Christoper Gira Anak Sambang, Assemblyman N.59 Tamin, YBhg. Dato Ir Alice Jawan, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Utility Sarawak, Mr Lau Pon Yin (Acting General Manager, Sibu Water Board), Mr Wong Hieng Seng, Deputy Resident of Sibu Division and the community of Rumah Raymond.
