CHINESE NEW YEAR GATHERING 2020 MINISTRY OF UTILITY SARAWAK

Despite being busy with official affairs, Minister of Utility Sarawak, Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom today is pleased to spend time with staff to celebrate Chinese New Year Gathering 2020 at Hilton Hotel, Kuching on February 19, 2020. Also present was the Minister of Utility (Electricity), YB. Datuk Liwan Lagang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Utility, YBhg. Dato Ir. Alice Jawan and officials from Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar, Kuching Water Board and Sibu Water Board. As part of Ministry’s CSR programme, donation to Chung Hua Middle School was presented by YBhg. Dato Ir. Alice Jawan, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Utility Sarawak.

Yb Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi Officiating Projek Rakyat Water Supply Along Deshon Road, Ling Kai Cheng Road And Teku Road, Sibu.

On February 8, 2020 (Saturday), YB Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, Minister of Utility Sarawak officiating Projek Rakyat Bekalan Air along Deshon Road, Ling Kai Cheng Road, Teku Road and Water Supply project of Ulu Sungai Merah, Sibu. This project is part of the initiative of the Sarawak Government under the Ministry of Utility and through Sibu Water Board to provide water supply to 4,929 residents along along Deshon Road, Ling Kai Chen and Teku Road and 3,364 residents along Ulu Sungai Merah Road, Sibu. The ceremony also attended by YB Ir Christoper Gira Anak Sambang, Assemblyman N.59 Tamin, YBhg. Dato Ir Alice Jawan, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Utility Sarawak, Mr Lau Pon Yin (Acting General Manager, Sibu Water Board), Mr Wong Hieng Seng, Deputy Resident of Sibu Division and the community of Rumah Raymond.

Opening Ceremony of SAWAS Long Seridan Asal Education and Awareness Program by YB Minister of Utility (Water Supply) Datuk Dr Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Junaidi

On February 7, 2020 (Friday), Datuk Dr Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Junaidi, the Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister's Department (Islamic Affairs & DBKU) and Assistant Minister of Utility (Water Supply) officiated the SAWAS Education and Awareness Program at Long Seridan Asal Long House. The program is a initiative of the JBALB Operations Section and the Corporate Communication & Customer Service Section in collaboration with the Ministry of Utility in educating the local community about the JBALB System. The program was also attended by the YB Dato Gerawat Gala (Sarawak Deputy Speaker and N.78 Mulu Assemblyman), Mr. Ir Chang Kuet Shian (Director of JBALB Sarawak), Resident and District Office Representatives, and community leaders and residents of Long Seridan.
